Tom Jones: Ladies and gentleman the following match is a 60 minute hard time match for both the NEW World heavyweight championship as well as the NEW Collision Heavyweight championship. Introducing first he is a member of the Collision roster, he is the master of the Dirty Needle, he is INKT!
Vince Walters: Here comes the painted Assassin Inkt. He looks ready to take out everyone on his way to his first NEW World title.
Clark Benson: After the huge run he went on in the Gfed NEW, you have to believe he is one of the front runners here tonight.
Inkt makes it about halfway up the ramp before pausing as "Savior" blares out over the PA.Pugh meets up with Inkt on the ramp, and the 2 make their way to the ring together.Jim Floss: It would appear that Tat and Fat are a united front going into this battle.
Jill Matthews: We'll see how long that lasts once the bell rings.
Vince Walters: Hey who in the hell turned your mic's on?
Jim Floss: This is a Collision and Ignite match. We have just as much right to be here as you.
Clark Benson: Yes I do believe that the B team deserves their time to shine.
Jill Matthews: B team? If you 2 only KNEW about the pay rate X is paying us.
Vince Walters: Please. It couldn't be that much more than what...
Jim covers his mic and tells the Ignite announce team the amount.Vince Walters: Are you fucking serious?
Clark Benson: Vince language now...but really...Is he fucking insane?
During the banter Inkt, Pugh, and even Jake Slade have made their way to the ring. With the Collision title on his shoulder Jake looks to be all business, but the outlook on him retaining the title is not so sunny.Vince Walters: All money squabbles aside, i feel legit sorry for Jake Slade. I mean yes he was just handed the title, but to go into a match like this to make your first defense? It hardly seems fair.
Clark Benson: NO doubt about it, this is by far one of the toughest matches EVER to retain a belt.
Jim Floss: And here comes the Monster Hazard, someone who is surely looking to take advantage of the champions disadvantage.
Hazard makes it about a quarter of the way up the ramp, before Hunter Valentyne emerges from the back. With a hard shot to the unaware monster, Hunter expected to get an early advantage.
Jill Matthews: Hazard just shrugged that shot off, and choke slammed Hunter right onto the ramp! A complete back fire for the Myth Killer!
Hazard stalks to the ring leaving Hunter writing on the ramp, as the world champion of the NEW's music begins to play.Vince Walters: Don't you think that video is a little out of date?
Clark Benson: Well Roger did go through some major changes after becoming world champ. Dying his hair blond, having a completely different more confident attitude....
Vince Walters: So what you're saying is, we have a really lazy production crew. Roger's been the champ for the better part of this year.
Clark Benson: Shhhh...I was trying not to go there. The change over of the NEW has been a pretty big deal, so I'm sure they were bogged down and will get back on updating the video's soon.
Vince Walters: I sure hope so. This is kind of embarrassing.
Roger pauses on the ramp over the fallen Hunter, and pretends to wipe his feet on him before proceeding to the ring. Once in the squared circle, Tom Jones quickly goes over the rules of the match.Tom Jones: Ladies and Gentleman here is a recap of the Hard Time Matches Rules. The champions will be decided by whoever holds the belts for the most amount of time during this 60 minute match. Right now Roger Wright and Jake Slade are the champions until they are pinned or made to submit. Any time they accumulate until that moment will be banked. Whichever wrestler has the most time at the end of the 60 minutes will be the NEW World Heavyweight champion. Whoever has the second most amount of time, will be the Collision Champion.
Jill Matthews: This match is innovative beyond compare. I have been waiting for this for the better part of a month.
Vince Walters: Pfft...like you were even paying attention. You were probably swinging from a pole.
Jim Floss: Hey is that really necessary? We're all on the same team here!
Clark Benson: No. If we were on the same team we'd all be paid the same amount you over priced....
The continuance of the rules by Tom Davis breaks up the announcers squabble.Tom Jones: In addition to the time banked by holding the title, the two men who are the Collision Champion and NEW Champion when time runs out will receive an additional 5 minutes worth of time to their bank.
Jim Floss: It will be paramount for the wrestlers to be the last men holding the title of champion. That 5 minute bonus could change the very completion of the match.
Clark Benson: That is something we can agree on. It could make a Collision championg the World champion, or even put someone who's out of the running completely on top of the pack.
The referee checks in with all 6 men, including Hunter who cleaned himself up off the ramp, and then motions to ringside for the opening bell. Jill Matthews: We are officially underway, and the clock is ticking for the champions.
In a move that would surprise none, Inkt and Pugh immediately go to work on Jake Slade. Then, in a counter move that probably did leave a few people scratching their heads, Hunter and the man who just choke slammed him on the ramp Hazard begin taking it to Roger Wright.Vince Walters: I don't envy the champions one bit right now. 2 enemies in Hazard and Hunter are attacking the world champ without mercy, While Tat and Fat are putting the boots to Jake Slade.
Hunter picks Roger up, talking trash to him the whole time as he irish whips him towards Hazard who meets the champ right in the face with a super kick. Clark Benson: Now that Doherty's back do we have to start calling that a Drunken Irish Bastard Whip again?
Vince Walters: Might as well. It's good to have the leaping leprechaun loving Guinness drinking shit back here in the NEW.
On the other side of the ring Jake Slade is lifted up and slammed down to the mat with a hard double powerbomb. Then the first issues begin to show with the NEW most prominent tag team.Vince Walters: Inkt goes for the pin on Slade, but is pulled off by Pugh.
Jim Floss: Now Pugh is going for the pin, and gets the same treatment!
Jill Matthews: Pugh and Inkt are in each others face now, having a heated discussion. I knew that the titles would cause a rift in even the most unified team.
After a couple of shoves and a lot of spit in each others face, Tat and Fat without warning drop to the mat. Inkt holds down the legs of Slade, while Pugh pins the upper body.Vince Walters: 1....2...3! And we have our first title change!
Clark Benson: And it would appear that they're giving the win to Ryan Pugh! Let the new champs clock begin.
Tom Jones: The winner at the 5 minute 27 second mark is Ryan Pugh!
Jake Slade: 5:27 Roger Wright: 5:27 (and counting) Ryan Pugh: 0:00 (on the clock) Hunter V: 0:00 Inkt: 0:00 Hazard: 0:00 |
Jill Matthews: It looks as if Tat and Fat around going to play this thing the smart way. Fat has just dropped back into the corner, while Inkt watches his flank. Now that is the mark of a true friendship.
Vince Walters: Sometime I wonder about their "friendship".
Jim Floss: While Pugh and Inkt hold down the Collision title, Hunter and Hazard continue to soften up Roger Wright.
Jill Matthews: VALENTYME on Wright! I can't believe it! This could be it for our long running world champ!
Vince Walters: And another Valentyme on Hazard! Hunter is on a roll and looks like he is bound and determined to become the NEW World champion.
In the corner Inkt and Pugh appear to be discussing the actions by Hunter, and spring into action right as Valentyne prepares to turn his attention back to the downed Roger Wright.Clark Benson: Dirty Needle by Inkt on Hunter!
Vince Walters: It looks as if Inkt is going to get his stake in the world title match now by Pinning Roger.
Jill Matthews: While Pugh is turning his attention to Hazard...by helping him up? What the hell is going on here?
Jim Floss: If I had to guess, it looks like we've got a new member of the Son's of Chaos!
Hazard shakes off the Valentyme, and turns back to the man who delivered it picking him up off the mat. Vince Walters: First the Dirty Needle by Inkt, and now The 13th Floor by Hazard! Hunter has been taking a beating since before the bell even rang.
Clark Benson: He is by far the most hated man on both rosters, and that would appear to come with a price.
During all of the action in the ring, the forgotten Collision champ has made his way over to Roger Wright, and draped arm across his chest.Jill Matthews: 1...2...3! Inkt couldn't break it up in time and Jake Slade just snuck in with a win over the Ignite World champion!
Tom Jones: The winner by Pin fall at the 11 minute 38 second mark is Jake Slade!
Roger Wright: 11:38 Ryan Pugh: 6:11 (and counting) Jake Slade: 5:27 (on the clock) Hunter V: 0:00 Inkt: 0:00 Hazard: 0:00 |
Clark Benson: With the Sons of Chaos inducting a new member in Hazard, the balance of power in this match has surely shifted.
Jim Floss: It is going to be hard to wrestler that title from Ryan Pugh, and it's going to be even harder to get the belt off Hazard or Inkt if they turn their attention to Slade.
Jill Matthews: Too late for that. Inkt has Slade up and in the corner, and is driving his shoulder into the Collision champions gut.
Slade drops into the corner, already feeling the effects of the short match after having the target on his back for nearly the whole time. Inkt backs away and looks poised to hit the dirty needle again, but Slade manages to drop to the mat and roll out of the ring causing the Painted Assassin to drill his own shoulder into the corner.Clark Benson: Smart move by Slade, but there is no safe house in this match. Falls count anywhere, even on the arena floor.
Jim Floss: Actually I was kind of hoping this thing wouldn't spread all over the arena. It's hard enough to keep track of things in the ring.
Inkt and Hazard leave the ring, and begin to work over the already exhausted Slade. Hazard hits a Mongolian Chop across the chest of Slade, which Inkt follows up with a hard lariat that sends the champ end over end and onto his back. Jill Matthews: This match has surely taken a different road than I expected with the SoC all on the same page. I would have figured the thirst for gold would tear any stable apart.
Vince Walters: True, but the Sons are stronger than ever with the apparent addition of the Monster Hazard.
Vince Walters: Inkt and Hazard both exit the ring after Slade which might be a calculated mistake.
Jill Matthews: There's no might about it! The Wright Stuff on Pugh! Roger goes for the pin, 1...2...3! The champ is here again!
Clark Benson: Don't let him hear you say the champ is here. It irritates Roger to no end after what Hunter and Triple X have been pulling this week.
Tom Jones: The winner by pinfall at the 17 minute even mark, Roger Wright!
Ryan Pugh: 12:13 Roger Wright: 11:38 (On the Clock) Jake Slade: 11:29 (On the clock) Inkt: 0:00 Hazard: 0:00 Hunter V: 0:00 |
Vince Walters: We've got Ryan Pugh on top, followed by Roger Wright and Jake Slade. Hunter, Inkt, and Hazard have yet to taste title gold in this match.
Jim Floss: It's only a matter of time though, especially with the 2 original champions holding the belts. Having the targets on the back int he beginning didn't go well.
Outside the ring Inkt and Hazard continue to work over Jake Slade, the Collision champ at the moment laying prone on the freshly set up table, while Hazard climbs back into the ring and to the top rope.Jill Matthews: What in the blue hell is Hazard thinking here?
Vince Walters: We know you're new here Jill, but this is what the Monster does. Don't let his size fool you, he is as agile as a luchadore.
Clark Benson: Hazard off the top rope, and he lands the Crush Theory on Slade!
Jim Floss: And Inkt is going for the cover, 1...2...3! It's only been a couple minutes since Roger regained the title from Pugh and we have another championship change.
Tom Jones: The winner via Pinfall at the 21 minute 45 seconds mark is INKT!
Roger Wright: 16:23 (And Counting) Jake Slade: 16:14 Ryan Pugh: 12:13 Inkt: 0:00 (On the clock) Hazard: 0:00 Hunter V: 0:00 |
Vince Walters: Does anyone get the feeling that the Sons of Chaos are wanting to play the role of spoiler more than win the titles?
Clark Benson: I would have to agree. It would seem they're trying to cause their namesake rather than worry about personal gain. This has been CHAOS so far.
Jill Matthews: One thing has been consistent so far, you can't keep Roger Wright down. He's the champ again, and the minutes are building up.
In the ring almost on cue we see Roger standing strong. Pugh is still down feeling the effects of The Wright Stuff, and Hunter is on the mat right behind the champ. As Roger turns around he see's Hunter, and begins jawing in the biggest thorn in his sides face.Jim Floss: I'm sure this feels good to Roger being able to berate Hunter. After turning on him during the tag title match, and then all of the subsequent activity leading in to iSUNDAY.
Roger leans forward and delivers an open palms slap to the downed Hunter's face, which could have been the champs first major mistake so far.Vince Walters: School boy roll up by Hunter! He was playing possum!
Jill Matthews: Or that slap woke up a sleeping giant. 1....2....3! We've got another pin fall.
For the first time Collision ring announcer Brandy Boss gets to make the call.Brandy Boss: And your winner via pinfall at the 25 minute 20 second mark, Hunter Valentyne!
Roger Wright: 20:58 Jake Slade: 16:14 Ryan Pugh: 12:13 Inkt: 4:35 (And Counting) Hunter V: 0:00 (On the clock) Hazard: 0:00 |
Clark Benson: It just goes to show that you can't count Hunter Valentyne out. He's been beat on more than anyone in this match, and now he's champion.
Jill Matthews: And he's making a smart move right now. With Inkt and Hazard turning their attention to the ring, Hunter rolled to the floor...and actually disappeared under the ring!
Vince Walters: Leave it to the Ultimate Icon to find a way to abuse the system. I don't know if anyone really picked up on where he went.
Clark Benson: If that is the case, he might be able to just ride out the rest of the time on the clock, and if he does, he'll have over 30 minutes plus the 5 minute bonus.
Hazard and Inkt enter the ring, and help the still groggy Pugh up to his feet. Jim Floss: The Son's of Chaos appear to be having some sort of discussion.
Clark Benson: Never once did I think we'd be sitting here right now watching 3 of the men going for the world title having a conversation.
Jim Floss: And even worse, not only having a conversation, but playing rock paper scissors?
The 3 Sons indeed are playing a game of Rock Paper Scissors, which in the end Hazard takes the win. Immediately after, Inkt drops to the mat as if he's been shot. Vince Walters: I think I just cracked the code on that little exchange. It's Hazards turn to be champ.
Jill Matthews: 1...2...3, and we have a fairly anti-climatic title change.
Brandy Boss: Your winner at the 30 minute 3 second mark, The Monster HAZARD!
Roger Wright: 20: 58 Jake Slade: 16:14 Ryan Pugh: 12:13 Inkt: 9:58 Hunter V: 5:03 (and counting) Hazard: 0:00 (on the clock) |
Jim Floss: I am 100% sure that in the back, Triple X is seething.
Jill Matthews: Yes this amazing match was his brain child, and it would seem that the Sons of Chaos are taking the piss right out of it.
Clark Benson: That may be the case, but you can be sure of one thing. Someone in that stable is more likely than not going to leave here as the World or Collision champion. There's very little doubt on that.
While the SoC enjoy a hearty laugh at the expense of the NEW ownership and the fans, a storm is brewing around them. Jake Slade battered and bruised has crawled back into the ring, while at the same time Roger Wright has cleared the cob webs from his head.Jim Floss: It looks as if the 2 champs who started this bout have seen enough.
Vince Walters: The sons may have the numbers advantage, but the champs are going to be fueled by a little something called revenge.
The clash explodes in the center of the ring, as both Slade and Roger begin trading shots with Hazard and Inkt. Pugh try's to interject himself, only to catch a elbow to the bridge of the nose by Roger Wright that sends him flailing backward, blood pouring from his nostrils. Jim Floss: Pugh has been busted wide open by that elbow. I have no doubt he's got a broken nose.
Jill Matthews: And Slade just hit the corporate response on Inkt! He could have caved in the juiced giant's chest.
Vince Walters: Juiced Giant...I think I'm going to steal that. You 2 are kind of growing on me.
Jill Matthews: See, we're not so bad.
Vince Walters: Especially if we're talking looks when it comes to you Jill.
Jill Matthews: Vince are you hitting on me?
Vince Walters: maybe...
Clark Benson: AHEM! This isn't love connection damn it, this is the iSUNDAY main event! Between the 2 of you and the Son's of Chaos, XXX has probably destroyed his office by now.
Roger is going to work on Hazard, rocking the monster for the first real time in the match. Slade having taken out Inkt joins the fray.Jim Floss: Hazard is getting stung by hard shots from both Slade and Wright.
Clark Benson: Slade goes low into the back of Hazards knee's, while Wright goes high and hits a clothesline that sends the former Xtreme champ tumbling end over end! What a move!
Jim Floss: That reminded me of the time John Elway dove into the end zone in the superbowl and did the helicopter. BOOM!
Vince Walters: I figured you were a football fan.
Jim Floss: Is it the eyebrows?
Vince Walters: Amongst other things.
With Hazard down, Slade glares at Roger, and then does a motion with his hand as if he was taking off a mask.Jill Matthews: Is Slade eluding to what I think he is? Is he going to unmask the monster?
Vince Walters: That looks to be the plan. He's tugging at the straps...The mask is off! Hazard has been unmasked!
Hazard does everything possible to keep his face covered as he rolls onto his belly. The camera never really gets a good clear shot of the bare face, but Roger see's his opening as Hazard writhes.
Clark Benson: The one up! Roger just locked in the one up!
Jill Matthews: And before Roger could pull back on the face of Hazard, the monster tapped out!! He seemed more concerned about protecting his identity.
Roger lets go of the hold has Hazard quickly rolls to the outside, retrieving his mask that Slade had cast aside after it was ripped off.Brandy Boss: Your winner at the 38 minute 40 second mark, ROGER WRIGHT!
Roger Wright: 20:58 (on the clock) Jake Slade: 17:25 Hunter V: 13:40 (and counting) Ryan Pugh: 12:13 Inkt: 9:58 Hazard: 8:37 |
Clark Benson: We've got just over 20 minutes left, and this match is still anyone's game.
Jill Matthews: And someone still needs to find Hunter Valentyne. He's been under the ring for 13 minutes now!
Vince Walters: It might not be the most honorable strategy, but it is surely effective.
Roger has little time to celebrate his win, as a slightly recovered Pugh, covered with his own blood now, nails him in the back with a double ax handle blow. Slade attempts to go for the quick cover on the dropped Wright, only to see the champ kick out at 2, and the receive a barrage of boots from Pugh for his trouble. Jill Matthews: Hazard is back in the ring now, his mask replaced on his face.
Vince Walters: Inkt is also starting to stir after the Corporate response from Slade, and it looks as if we're about to be back to square one.
Slade is down on the mat with Pugh now in a mount position, doing his best MMA impression. Roger Wright the newly crowned champ is facing an onslaught from both Hazard and Inkt.Jim Floss: Pugh has decimated Jake Slade again, and now the big man from the south is turning his attention to Roger Wright.
Clark Benson: Inkt and Hazard toss Roger forward, right into the waiting Pugh who sets him up for the Pugh Bomb!
Roger is picked up and hurled to the outside of the ring by the huge Pugh power bomb variation. The Sons stand united in the ring again, looking very proud of themselves right up until "Ladies and Gentleman" blares over the PA.Jim Floss: Here comes the boss, and he doesn't look happy.
Triple X: I have seen a e-god damn-nough out of the 3 of you. You will NOT make a mockery out of this main event anymore, because you're all BANNED from the main event. You don't want the damn titles anyway.
In the ring the Sons of Chaos look more amused than upset, and leave the ring with little protest. On the way up the ramp Pugh slams his shoulder into the co-owner, leaving the boss with a final message.Pugh: I'll see you in a week and a half "boss".
Vince Walters: I can't believe it. This match has just been cut down to 3 men, with just a little over 15 minutes left.
Clark Benson: Just look at the carnage left in the ring. Slade and Wright are both down, and Hunter....well...he's probably taking a nap under the ring.
Jill Matthews: It looks pretty clear at this point that Roger Wright is going to be the NEW World champion when this is all said and done, and Hunter will be moving to Collision as their top title holder.
Hunter, having must have heard the SoC being banned from ringside, makes his way out from under the ring...right to where Roger Wright lays still feeling the after effects of the Pugh Bomb.Clark Benson: Hunter just rolled Roger into the ring, and is putting the boots to the champ.
Brandy Boss: There is 10 minutes remaining in the match.
Jim Floss: All Hunter has to do is hold on to the title, and Slade looks to be in no shape to pin anyone.
Vince Walters: Wait, Hunter just dropped down to cover Wright. The referee looks confused for a moment, but just counted the 1...2...3?
Brandy Boss: The winner via pin fall at the 50 minute 30 second mark, Hunter Valentyne.
Jill Matthews: So what in the world happens now? Does Hunter get double the time?
Jim Floss: Actually I'm hearing from the back that Hunter will be the only person gaining any time for the duration of him being the dual champ. Also, if he makes it to the end of the match with both titles, he will get a 10 minute bonus. This is huge for the Myth Killer.
Vince Walters: look at the cocky grin on the face of Hunter. He thinks he's the king of the world right now.
Jill Matthews: Well technically he is. he's the NEW world and Collision champions, as well as the Xtreme and tag title holder. Pretty damn impressive if you ask me.
Clark Benson: Good thing no one asked you then.
Hunter having been mildly caught up in the moment, didn't even realize that Jake Slade had made his way to his feet. Vince Walters: Heart punch! Hunter just got dropped!
Jill Matthews: 1...2...3! Jake is back on the clock!
Tom Davis: You're winner via pinfall at the 55 minute 2 second mark Jake Slade!
Jim Floss: Huge move by Slade, but I think it's going to be too little, too late. Hunter is still collecting time, and Slade is nearly 15 minutes behind.
Jill Matthews: If Hunter was smart, he'd head back under the ring.
Tom Davis: 5 minutes remaining!
Hunter begins to roll after his being pinned by Slade, landing outside the ring once again. As he tries to crawl back under the ring to kill the rest of the time, he's caught by the boot.Jim Floss: Hunter tried to take the low road to the win again, but Roger wright caught him. There's the Right Stuff once again on Hunter!
Vince Walters: Wright just rolled Hunter back in the ring and told Jake Slade to pin him. what the hell is going on here?
Jill Matthews: I don't know, but Slade drops for the cover, 1....2...3!
Brandy Boss: Your winner via pinfall at the 55 minute 47 second mark, Jake Slade!
Clark Benson: I see what's going on here. Hunter is down and out, Slade has both titles in hand right now, and HE will get the 10 minute bump in about 4 minutes. it's going to be close, but I think Slade is going to bump Hunter out of the picture completely!
The time continues to tick away, a very slow end to a long and hard fought match. The bell finally rings as Davis makes the final announcement.Tom Davis: Ladies and Gentleman your final standings are as follows. In first place with 33 minutes and 48 seconds, Roger WRIGHT! In second place after the bonus time has been added for being the final holder of both titles, with 32 minutes and 26 seconds, Jake Slade. And in 3rd place with 32 minutes and 24 seconds, Hunter Valentyne!
Jim Floss: I can't believe it. Thanks to Roger Wright, Hunter was edged out of the Collision title by a mere 2 seconds!
Jill Matthews: Amazingly both titles stay right around the waist of the men who walked in with this. What a match!
Roger and Slade both celebrate at opposite sides of the ring as red and blue spot lights flash around the arena. The effect of the match surely set in on them, but not as much as on Hunter who lays outside with his hands on his head still wondering just how the hell this happened.Clark Benson: For Vince Walters, Jim Floss, and Jill Matthews this is Clark Benson saying we hope you enjoyed iSUNDAY! We'll see you Saturday night for the very first edition of Collision! Good Night folks!
**WINNER VIA MOST TIME SPENT WITH BELT: ROGER WRIGHT.**
**2ND PLACE COLLISION CHAMPION: JAKE SLADE**
